Back Online...
A lot of things have happened in last few days:
- Laden was found killing people in Asam (yes, in India), and was (allegedly) put to death. In true serial killer fashion, there is still some debate as to whether it was he who was really killed. Conspiracy theories abound as usual.
- My exams are over, and I am on break till 10th Jan. (This explains my sudden disappearance for last few days)
- I didn't get a girlfriend, but I got a haircut.
- Apperently, I am third worst driver on the (normal) street. Now I know whom to call on to schauffer me around when I get to Pune.
- Last but not the least, I am named "Time Person of the Year". I take that as a singular, not plural, so let me enjoy before life brings me back on ground.

I knew I am a good driver... this just proves it... acc to them its #2 though...
That TIME article is so true... This year has been the year of people.. not only in US... but in India tooo.. and not only in case of net... but overall...from the last some weeks.. the headlines in newspapaers every day scream only 1 thing.. today A gets life term, today B gets death penalty... and all these A, B, C's are influential people... You can say A generation is Awakening..

I am not so optimistic as saying that a generation is awakening. Yes, there are some changes, like influential people getting their due punishment. But such cases are ever so few.
Having said that, the year was really about people. Aftermath of tsunami, mumbai bomb-blasts and many others, and the faceless people who came forward to help.
May be you get that feeling when, 24 hrs you see the sensationalized, news channels..
regd the very few people getting 'saza'... from some days now , it seems everyone is getting it ;)
but yes, they are few.. but in the same breath it can be added that when ministers in india start getting life terms... then it is a sign that times sure are changing!!!
